Every round is different

Round types

  • InfectionOne player becomes the first zombie and has to infect the humans before the round ends.
  • Multiple infectionSeveral zombies start at once – the humans have to hold together from the first second.
  • NemesisOne huge, fast nemesis hunts every human. Its health grows with the number of players.
  • SurvivorOne heavily armed survivor against the whole zombie horde.
  • SwarmHalf of the server starts as zombies, half as humans. No infection – just the fight.
  • PlagueNemesis and survivor in the same round, with zombies and humans on both sides.

How to join

  1. Launch

    Open Counter-Strike 1.6 – the Steam or the classic (non-Steam) build.

  2. Console

    Press the ~ key to open the console.

  3. Connect

    Type connect cs.swedencode.com:27015 and press Enter.

  4. Play

    Custom files download on your first visit. Pick a side and survive the round.

  • No mods needed. Models, sounds and maps download automatically the first time you join – after that, joining is instant.
  • Steam or non-Steam. Both Counter-Strike 1.6 builds can join the server.
  • Never an empty server. Bots keep the rounds going and give up their slot as soon as a real player joins.
  • VIP after the trial. VIP costs 5 EUR for 30 days in the Sweden Codes Panel.

What is the IP of the CS 1.6 Zombie Plague server?

The address is cs.swedencode.com:27015. Open the console with ~ and type connect cs.swedencode.com:27015, or add it to your favourites in the server browser.

Do I need to download any mods?

No. The server sends every custom model, sound and map automatically the first time you join. A normal Counter-Strike 1.6 is all you need.

Is the server free to play?

Yes, it is free. VIP is optional – and every new player gets it free for their first 7 days.

Which Zombie Plague version do you run?

Zombie Plague 4.3, with Gun XP, CS2-style skins and our own plugins for betting, achievements and round MVP.

Are there real players or bots?

When few people are online, bots fill the empty slots so there is always a round to play. A bot leaves as soon as a real player needs the slot.

Can I join with the Sweden Codes launcher?
